The Department of Journalism and Media Communication (DJMC) of Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) successfully organized an insightful workshop titled “Mobile Journalism: Crafting Digital Narratives” on Sunday, 07 December, at L 110, GUB.

The workshop began at 10:30 AM and aimed to equip journalism students with contemporary digital storytelling skills essential for today’s rapidly evolving media landscape.

Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh, attended the program as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the growing importance of mobile journalism and encouraged students to adapt to innovative media practices.

The session featured two distinguished resource persons: Dr. Md. Abdul Kabil Khan, Associate Professor, Department of Journalism, Media and Communication, Daffodil International University, and Dr. Aftab Hossain, Assistant Professor and Head of the same department. The speakers shared practical insights on mobile-based reporting, content creation, and digital narrative techniques.

The workshop was chaired by Dr. Habib Mohammad Ali, Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Journalism and Media Communication, GUB.

Through interactive discussions and hands-on guidance, the session empowered students with modern tools and techniques necessary to excel in the fast-paced digital media environment.
