Freshers’ Orientation Program for Batch 261 (Spring 2026)

The Department of Journalism and Media Communication (JMC), Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) warmly welcomed Batch 261 (Spring 2026) through a vibrant and inspiring Freshers’ Orientation Program at the university’s permanent campus in Purbachal American City.

The program was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of GUB, as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. M. Shahidullah, Honorable Dean, FASS, joined as the Special Guest. The event was further enriched by the participation of Md. Abdul Quayyum (UNDP Bangladesh) as the Guest of Honour, alongside Dr. Habib Mohammad Ali, Chairperson, Department of JMC.

The orientation featured inspiring speeches, warm greetings, and a documentary screening, creating an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for the new students.
