Library Orientation Program Summer 2026

The Department of Journalism and Media Communication (JMC), Green University of Bangladesh, in collaboration with the Green University Library, successfully organized the Library Orientation Program 2026 for newly admitted students on 6 July 2026.

The orientation session was designed to familiarize students with the Library’s extensive collections, facilities, borrowing services, digital resources, and research support. Through informative presentations and live demonstrations, participants learned how to effectively search the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), access e-books, e-journals, and academic databases, and make the best use of the Library’s resources to support their academic and research endeavors throughout their university journey.

The program also featured inspiring remarks from the Class Representative and JMC Library Focal Person, Jannatul Ferdous Meem. The orientation was facilitated by Md. Tohidul Islam, Senior Library Officer, Green University Library, and Nawshaba Bulia, Library Officer, Green University Library, who provided practical guidance and valuable insights into the Library’s services and research facilities.
